Jianhua Zhu

Chief Executive Officer, Director

Jianhua Zhu, one of our founders, resumed his role as chief executive officer in June 2015 and has been a director since 2004. He has served as the chairman of our board of directors from November 2008 to June 2014 and as chief executive officer of our company from December 2006 to June 2014. He was the chairman of our board of directors from 2004 until December 2006. From 2001 until 2004, Mr. Zhu was general manager of N-T Information Engineering. From 1998 until 2001, he was deputy general manager of N-T Information Engineering. He has also been the supervisor of N-T Information Engineering since 2006. Mr. Zhu has been the executive director of the Guangdong Digital Media Research Institute since 2005. He worked at the China Technology Import and Export Corp. from 1994 until 1997. Mr. Zhu holds bachelor's and master's degrees in precision instrumentation from Tsinghua University.


Zhenwen Liang

Chief Financial Officer, Director

Mr. Liang is the Company’s current CFO and joined the Company in 1998 as financial controller. Mr. Liang has extensive experience in company operations and financial management. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Central University of Finance and Economics and a master’s degree in business administration from Renmin University of China. Mr. Liang is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jianhua Zhu

Chairman

Jianhua Zhu, one of our founders, has been a director since 2004. He has served as the chairman of our board of directors from November 2008 to June 2014 and as chief executive officer of our company from December 2006 to June 2014. He was the chairman of our board of directors from 2004 until December 2006. From 2001 until 2004, Mr. Zhu was general manager of N-T Information Engineering. From 1998 until 2001, he was deputy general manager of N-T Information Engineering. He has also been the supervisor of N-T Information Engineering since 2006. Mr. Zhu has been the executive director of the Guangdong Digital Media Research Institute since 2005. He worked at the China Technology Import and Export Corp. from 1994 until 1997. Mr. Zhu holds bachelor's and master's degrees in precision instrumentation from Tsinghua University.


Zhenwen Liang

Director

Mr. Liang is the Company’s current CFO and joined the Company in 1998 as financial controller. Mr. Liang has extensive experience in company operations and financial management. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Central University of Finance and Economics and a master’s degree in business administration from Renmin University of China. Mr. Liang is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


China Digital TV's Conflict Minerals Policy Statement


      China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. (CDTV) is aware that trade in coltan (for tantalum), cassiterite (for tin), wolframite (for tungsten), and gold (collectively, the “Conflict Minerals”) originating from conflict areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (the "DRC") and its adjoining countries may directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in such conflict areas or otherwise support serious human rights abuses.

As a concerned corporate citizen and U.S. publicly traded company, it is our policy to use only “DRC Confict Free" minerals as defined by applicable laws and regulations. In furtherance of this policy, we have developed and implemented Conflict Minerals procedures that conform to the “OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas" published by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (the "OECD Guidance"). Accordingly, we require that our suppliers undertake reasonable due diligence to ensure that their products or materials do not contain Conflict Minerals that originate from the DRC and its adjoining countries and provide us with at least the following:


  1. To the extent practicable, documentation on the parties involved in our suppliers' supply chains from extraction of the Conflict Minerals to delivery of the products or materials containing such Conflict Minerals to CDTV;

  2. Documentation on our suppliers' Conflict Minerals sourcing, such as a completed Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI);and

  3. Documentation that products or materials provided to CDTV by our suppliers only contain minerals that are “DRC Conflict-Free”.


The relevant suppliers should ensure the accuracy of all documentation they provide to CDTV. We may reconsider our willingness to partner with suppliers that fail to comply with this policy.
